Date: 2004 Label: Self-Released Format: CD Category: Folk TRACK LISTING (AUDIO HELP) 1. My Guitar Smells Like Cigarettes 2. Rose Among the Stones 3. Jalapeno 4. Today I Quit Drinkin 5. Hold Me 6. The Walk 7. When the Sun Comes Up Again Masterd by Jeff Capurso at City Mastering, Athens, GA. Songs about a guitar-playing child who was dyslexic and named after Japanese Jello. A story about the many times he sang love songs to drunk people trying to hook up, an old girlfriend that now hates his ass, "How to answer a question with a question!," and a friend's lullaby to his honey back home. All, with a couple of drunk on Saturday night, meat burning on the grill instrumentals to carry you along. There's pianos, banjos, washing machines, mandolins, a tamboul, guitars and an occasional Dr. Hook or Buck Owens. With the exception of a few takes, the collection is pretty much a "push the record button and run grab the instrument" first time effort from Rusty Bridgers.
